Water proof 40kg bags are automatically packed by a Rotary Packer with standard weight set at 40 kilograms.

40kg bag in Sling bag:

 40kg bags are manually packed into canvass Sling  bag at 1.44 tons (36 bags) per Sling.

Bulk Cement Truck (BCT): 12~20 tons per load

The company owns several BCTs and distributes cement in BCTs to local customers in Lae and Port Moresby Cities only.

 

40kg bag on Pallet (Palletized):

 40kg bags are automatically palletized and shrink wrapped on wooden pallet made by the company at 2.0 tons (50 bags) or 0.8 ton (20 bags)

Bulker (Jumbo) Bag: 1.5~1.8 tons per bag

Bulker bags are poly woven with inner plastics lining for moisture protection and are manually packed.

The company distributes cement to customers in Lae and Port Moresby Cities by its truck, but basically other customers in PNG and overseas are responsible for picking up cement by truck and/or 20ft containerized freight at the company’s factory in Lae, Port Moresby or container yard (Kone Depo) operated by Bismark Maritime in Port Moresby.

  • 10 Pallets x 2 tons + 5 Slings x 1.44 tons =27.2 tons

Domestic Container Packing (20ft FCL) for Bulker bags

  •     12 bags x approx. 1.65 tons            = 20.0 tons
  •     12~13 bags x approx. 1.65 tons         =21.6 tons

Export Container Packing (20ft FCL) for Bulker bags

  •     16~17 bags x approx. 1.65 tons           =27.2 tons
